Thessaloniki, Greece
I am an Adjunct Faculty member at the AACSB-accredited School of Business of the University of Nicosia and a member of the Knowledge Management, Innovation and Strategy Center (KISC). I also coordinate the Stra.Tech.Man Lab at the Department of Economics, Democritus University of Thrace.
My research develops evolutionary and systems-oriented macro–meso–micro approaches to international political economy, business ecosystems, entrepreneurship, and sectoral transformation, with particular emphasis on energy transitions and the geopolitics of the global economy. I am interested in how firms and ecosystems adapt under structural change, how strategic and managerial capabilities form, and how institutional and intermediary structures enable or constrain that adaptation.
Recent and forthcoming work appears in Strategy & Leadership, The Journal of Entrepreneurship, Journal of the Knowledge Economy, Journal of Global Responsibility, Journal of Economic Integration, and Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies. I currently serve as Leading Guest Editor for special issues of Sustainability and Discover Global Society, and as a member of the International Editorial Board of Mercados y Negocios.
I teach at MBA and undergraduate level in Corporate Strategy, Globalization and International Business, Business Economics, Leadership and Innovation, Managing SMEs and Family Businesses, and Energy and Geopolitics, and have developed full distance-learning material for several of these courses.
A complete record is available in my CV and on the publications page.
